A bit about me

I am an artist who wears many colorful hats.

Originally from Ann Arbor, Michigan (where I dabbled in marching band, competitive dance, choir, and improv), I spent my senior year at Interlochen Arts Academy before moving to the Twin Cities to train at the University of Minnesota/Guthrie Theater BFA program. I stayed for the theatre community. And the lakes. But mostly the theatre.

As a performer, I gravitate toward work that’s complicated and alive — new plays, sharp reimaginings of classics, stories with teeth. I’ve worked with the Guthrie Theater, Ten Thousand Things, Theatre Latté Da, History Theatre, Yellow Tree Theatre, The Playwrights’ Center, Theatre Novi Most, The Birth Play Project, and BARd Shakespeare. I’ve been fortunate enough to premiere multiple new works, including the critically acclaimed I Am Betty (2023, 2024) at the History Theatre in St. Paul and, coming fall 2025, An Ocean Away with Theatre Novi Most.

I’ve also been teaching theatre since I was 14. (It started as summer camp. It got serious.) I coach dialects, direct in educational settings, choreograph intimacy, and help people figure out what they’re really trying to say. There’s nothing quite like the moment when someone clicks into their voice. To learn more about how to work with me, visit my coaching & education page!

Outside of the rehearsal room, I run Anecdote Designs, a web and graphic design studio for artists and arts orgs who want a website that actually reflects who they are. Past collaborators include Yellow Tree Theatre, Ten Thousand Things, Theatre Novi Most, Theatre Pro Rata, Running Errands, and The Birth Play Project.

I currently live in St. Paul with my two cats (Juni and Seb), too many craft supplies, and a deep love of rainy days and iced coffee. I believe in showing up, digging in, and making work that feels true — even if it’s weird. Especially if it’s weird.
